Tom grew up in Arnold, MO, attending Immaculate Conception School before starting St. Pius. As a young man he was unobtrusive and calm, never seeming to be rattled. Of course, being the oldest of 12 siblings, he was no stranger to chaos. After graduation he attended Saint Louis University studying pre-law. While in college he met Joy Proust, whom he later married. Tom worked as a case manager for Liberty Mutual Insurance in St. Louis both as a field agent and “in the office”. As a family man he maintained his businesslike qualities and dry humor throughout his life, which was all too short. Tom passed while on a fishing trip to Colorado. He is buried at Immaculate Conception in Arnold. Several years later, his wife remarried. At the ceremony approached, Joyce asked Tom Dolan SR to walk her down aisle. Mr Dolan SR replied, “he would and was honored to do so”. At the time of his death, Tom was survived by 3 sisters and 7 brothers (one brother was previously deceased). We will treasure the pleasant memories and smiles he left us with.
