St. Pius X Admissions Timeline

Class of 2031

This timeline is a combination of the St. Louis Archdiocese's Catholic High School admissions process and St. Pius X Catholic High School admission events leading to the 2026-2027 school year.

St. Pius X accepts applications for admission throughout the year. Students wishing to transfer during the school year should review the transfer page.

· St. Pius X accepts applications year-round. 

September 2026

High School Fair Nights provide parents and students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades an opportunity to hear from representatives of Catholic high schools in the St. Louis Archdiocese about their programs and policies. Families will have the choice to attend three different 20-minute presentations. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the evening ends at 8:00 PM. St. Pius X is participating in the following High School Nights.

· Thursday, September 10 at St. Joseph’s Academy

· Wednesday, September 23 at St. Louis University High School

8th Grade Day- Thursday, September 17- All eighth grade students are invited to St. Pius X to participate in our annual Eighth Grade Day. This event is scheduled during Homecoming Week so students may witness firsthand the culture and school spirit at St. Pius X.  Students can wear their uniform bottoms or jeans with a school shirt or St. Pius X shirt and tennis shoes. Food is provided!

Applications are OPEN!

· Applications – Parochial school & PSR 8th graders must submit two applications for admission; the St. Pius X online application and an application through the Archdiocese. The Archdiocesan application must be completed between Tuesday, September 1- Sunday, November 8.

· Public school students who are not PSR participants need only submit the StPX application.

October 2026

o St. Pius X Open House Sunday, October 25, 11 am - 2 pm - Open House includes opportunities to meet faculty, staff, coaches, and students. You can tour the campus and learn more about life as a Lancer from our team of student ambassadors as well as areas such as our innovative house system, our lunch hour program, and college counseling. We also hold a drawing for a one-year partial tuition voucher.

· Public school students who are not PSR participants need only submit the StPX application.

November 2026

· Archdiocesan applications for current 8th graders are due by Sunday, November 8. 

· Records for students who have applied to St. Pius X and attend Archdiocesan high schools will be sent by their current schools to StPX no later than Friday, December 1. Records are also sent for PSR students at this time.

January 2027

· Interviews - Saturday, January 9 - St. Pius X hosts mandatory interviews with 8th-grade students who have applied for admission.

· Archdiocesan-based financial aid applications open.

· Friday, January 29 – First Round of Acceptance Letters Delivered

February 2027

· Class of 2029 Placement Test - Saturday from 9 AM – 12 PM

· Class of 2029 Placement Test Makeup Date - February 11

· February 21 - StPx financial aid application deadline

· February 28 - Deadline to apply for Archdiocesan-based financial aid.

· Induction Night Thursday, February 27 - This event is for all recently accepted students so they can meet St. Pius X faculty, staff, and students, as well as each other, while parents are given an opportunity to meet with StPX administrators. This is where incoming freshmen learn about their house assignments.

March 2027

· Class of 2029 Schedule Day – March 6

·March 9 – StPX Preview Night from 5:00-7:00 PM

· St. Pius X Scholarships & Awards deadline 

May 2027

· Financial aid packages are distributed to students at the end of May.
