Pat (Beaudoin) Wynn

July 7, 1948 – May 17, 2020

Patricia Ann “Pat” Beaudoin (nee Wynn), 71, of Elk Grove Village, Il for 47 years passed away on May 17, 2020.  Retired after 25-years faithfully serving as a teacher’s assistant within the special education program in local School District 59, where she touched the lives of countless students and families.  Patricia also found the time to give unwavering support to her students and volunteered for several years with the Special Olympics.  She was passionate about volunteering with the local Elks foundation in supporting our Veterans especially during summer  programs and by serving Thanksgiving dinner to disabled Veterans from a local Veterans’ hospital.

Known as “Mrs. B” by just about everyone, she is most remembered as having a contagious laugh, infectious smile, hilarious sense of humor and a Missouri “twang” that entertained every listener.  She was lighthearted, quick-witted and fun-loving.  She acted as a surrogate mother to several people who needed some motherly advice and love. No matter how many people came to the party, to Pat, there was always room for one more. She was an exceptionally calm and patient woman that never let the “little things” bother her.  Truly an inspiring life mentor.

Her greatest passion was being the beloved matriarch of her close-knit family.  She was the cherished wife of the late Joe Beaudoin and loving mother of 7 children and active grandmother of 16 grandchildren.  After retiring in 2019, she wasn’t one for sitting still.  If you couldn’t find Patricia working in her yard, garden or tending to her flowers, you would certainly find her in attendance cheering on and supporting any one of her grandchildren at their school, sporting or dance events.  The love she had for her children and grandchildren was monumental.
