Beverly Ann Daugherty Scaggs, age 77, of Festus, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Crystal Oaks Nursing Center in Festus. She was born December 11, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Augusta Marie (nee Coleman) and Stephen Siracusa.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Terry Scaggs; second husband Wayne Daugherty; and a sister Brenda (the late Bob) Schwent.
She is survived by her sister Barb (Gary) Linderer, sons Steven Scaggs of Festus, and Scott (Eren) Scaggs of St. Charles, Missouri; grandson Sean Taylor; and a great-granddaughter Olivia Taylor.
She was a medical assistant for the medical practice of Doctor’s Gary and Kevin Sides in Festus, and a member of Our Lady Church in Festus. She had deep love and care for her family and friends. She was very active and enjoyed any type of exercise to stay healthy. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, and playing Mahjong with her close friends. She was a fabulous cook and baker and enjoyed sharing that passion with others.
Visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Our Lady Church in Festus, officiated by Fr. Michael Boehm. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City, Missouri. Memorials in Beverly’s memory are preferred to the Parkinson’s Research Foundation, 5969 Cattleridge Blvd., Suite #100, Sarasota, Florida 34232, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
