Festus/Crystal City Elks Scholarship forms are here -These are awarded only to the 7 local (Festus) area high schools. You do not have to be a Festus resident to apply for this. Attending St. PIus is good enough. The application is very extensive and you have to be very precise in completing it. It requires family financial information as it is partially based on financial need and it requires your social security number. (I do not agree with this but have no say in the matter.) Usually there is a cover letter with these applications, but there was not one attached. So, I do not know how many of these will be awarded nor the dollar amount. -You need at least one letter of recommendation and, that said I would rather it not be me as I cannot fairly recommend one of you over another St. Pius student. You do need for me to attach a transcript and ACT scores. This I will do. Deadline: 3/1/19 to have everything completed and to the local Elks Lodge. See maz if interested.
