Foreign Exchange Student Information

Welcome to St. Pius X High School Exchange Student Information web-page. Here you will find contact information to possibly host an exchange student. St. Pius has enjoyed its experiences with exchange students and would like families to continue hosting students. St. Pius is currently offering a $1,000 tuition credit for any family who hosts an exchange student willing to pay tuition.

EF Foundations helps you host the world!

Hosting the world is as easy as welcoming a foreign teenager into your home. EF High School Exchange Year is a non-profit organization dedicated to cultural understanding through international exchange. Each year, thousands of EF High School Exchange Year students spend an academic year or a semester in the United States. By welcoming one of these English-speaking students into your family, you would create a friendship that crosses all cultural borders.

EF High School Exchange Year students come from 25 countries around the world, are between 15 and 18 years old, and bring their own spending money and insurance. The students are carefully screened by the EF High School Exchange Year offices in their home countries. Host families provide room, board, and -- most importantly -- a caring and supportive environment. You would have the opportunity to select a student whose interests and activities complement your own. Hosting is an educational and cultural experience full of memories to last a lifetime.
